How does the process work?
MD Consultants is committed to matching clients with a consultant specializing in their area of interest. For example, a client seeking admission to medical school will be matched with a medical student, while a client seeking admission to Graduate School for a science-based degree will be matched with a graduate student pursuing a science-based Masters or PhD.
After creating a client profile and contacting us, you will hear back from a consultant specializing in your area of interest (usually within 1-2 business days). Our consultant will discuss your need with you, and establish an agenda for an in person, telephone, or online consultation. Some of our consultants may also require you to fill out a “Client Information Form” online prior to your actual appointment in order to adequately meet your needs.
Depending on your educational needs and services requested, you may require more than one appointment. Please note that we endeavour to work together with you in the applications process, and that it is in our interest to have satisfied clients. Under most circumstances, we do not recommend a follow up appointment; rather your consultant will be happy to address any follow up questions over email or telephone. However, additional appointments may be necessary if different topic areas are to be addressed. For example, pre-medical students typically request at least two appointments over one application cycle—one in September to prepare their application, and another in February to practice for interviews. To best utilize your time during an appointment, it is recommended that you come prepared.
