Marko Popovic is a resident in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto. He attended medical school at the University of Toronto, where he served as the Vice-President of Internal Affairs at the medical school’s governing body, Co-Director of on-campus volunteer organization Vision Worldwide and the Ophthalmology Clerkship Representative for his medical school class. He is a graduate of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at McMaster University, from which he received early admission to medical school after three years of undergraduate study. He is actively engaged in clinical research, having co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications and 125 oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences. He aspires to one day be an academic ophthalmologist actively engaged in clinical practice, research and teaching.
