Dr. Zainab Najarali is a dedicated emergency medicine physician and clinical educator with a strong commitment to delivering high quality patient care across a variety of healthcare settings. Her professional experience spans emergency medicine, primary care, women’s health, and medical education, allowing her to provide comprehensive and patient centered healthcare services.
Since 2021, Dr. Najarali has practiced as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Mackenzie Health, where she provides acute care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies. Her work in emergency medicine requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to make timely decisions in fast paced healthcare environments. Prior to this role, she also served as an Emergency Medicine Physician at University Health Network in Toronto, further strengthening her experience in one of Canada’s leading healthcare systems.
In addition to her emergency medicine practice, Dr. Najarali has expanded her clinical focus to include primary care and women’s health. As a physician with Unify Health, she provides patient centered care with a particular emphasis on supporting women’s healthcare needs. Her work reflects a commitment to preventive medicine, health promotion, and improving access to quality healthcare services.
Dr. Najarali is also actively involved in healthcare innovation and digital medicine. As Lead Prescriber for HeliosX Group in Ontario, she contributes to the delivery of accessible healthcare solutions through technology enabled care models. In this leadership role, she helps support the provision of safe, effective, and patient focused medical services within a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Alongside her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Najarali is passionate about medical education and mentorship. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University, where she helps educate and guide medical learners as they develop their clinical knowledge and professional skills. Through teaching and mentorship, she contributes to the development of future healthcare professionals while promoting excellence in patient care.
Dr. Najarali completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto, earning her Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She later pursued advanced training in Emergency Medicine through McMaster University’s Emergency Medicine Residency Program, obtaining her CCFP(EM) designation. This combination of training has provided her with a strong foundation in both comprehensive family medicine and emergency care.
