Haroon Yousuf is a General Internist at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and an assistant professor at McMaster University. He completed his MD degree at McMaster University, followed by IM residency and GIM fellowship at McMaster University. He has also completed an MHSc in Bioethics from the Joint Centre for Bioethics at University of Toronto.
As a clinician educator, Haroon is involved in curriculum development for McMaster’s undergraduate MD program and competency curriculum design and resident coaching for McMaster’s GIM fellowship and IM residency, respectively. In addition, Haroon enjoys the intersection of medical education and leadership and is currently deputy program director of the IM Residency program.
Haroon is also interested in quality improvement (QI), research and innovation within medicine. He is a member of Ontario’s General Medicine Quality Improvement Network and contributes to several QI initiatives at HHS. Haroon has also participated in research on virtual remote monitoring of post-operative patients.
