Kiddy Klair MD, FRCPC

Dr. Klair MD FRCPC is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine with a passion for improving the care of older adults through evidence-based, patient-centered innovation. She is recognized for her expertise in the diagnosis and management of dementia, delirium, frailty, complex medical conditions, and behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia with a particular interest in helping healthcare teams deliver practical, high quality compassionate care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Klair has developed and led initiatives focused on expanding geriatric services, improving interdiscliplinary collaboration, enhancing healthcare delivery in community settings. She is an experienced educator and speaker who has presented topics in dementia care, delirium prevention, healthy aging, brain health, and women’s health.

She is committed to advancing preventative medicine and has additional expertise in the assessment and management of perimenopause and menopause including Hormone Replacement Therapy.

As a consultant, Dr. Klair brings a unique combination of front line expertise, strategic thinking and systems level problem solving as she continues to practice Internal medicine and manage ICU level patients on-call.

Dr. Klair also provides medical-legal consulting, offering independent medical opinions, capacity assessments and expert analysis in matters involving cognitive impairment, aging, functional capacity, and complex internal medicine issues. She is known for her balanced, objective approach and her ability to communicate complex medical information clearly to legal professionals, insurers and other stakeholders.
