Dr. Manveen Puri is a Family Physician and a Medical Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces where his practice comprises the full spectrum of occupational, operational, and acute care medicine. Manveen majored in Genes, Genetics, and Biotechnology and graduated with high distinction from New College (HBSc, 2009) before going on to medical school (MD, 2013) and residency training in Family Medicine (CCFP, 2015) at University of Toronto. In addition, he has additional training in hypobaric and hyperbaric medicine and is a Flight Surgeon and Basic Dive Medical Officer with the military. He is stationed out of Toronto and regularly travels domestically and abroad in support of military commitments.

In addition to his work with the army, Manveen also maintains a part-time practice in Addictions Medicine and is a rural Emergency Physician at Grey Bruce Health Services. He has taken on various leadership roles over the years and has served on the University of Toronto’s Governing Council and as Chief Resident at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Manveen has received both the Cressy Award and Arbor Award for his continued contributions to the University of Toronto community. Manveen enjoys the creativity associated with entrepreneurship and is also actively involved in managing two organizations he has co-founded. In addition to MDconsultants, Manveen is Chairman of the Medvisory group of companies which provide real estate investment options to physicians and allied healthcare providers across Canada.

Outside of work, Manveen enjoys travelling and spending time with his friends and family.
