Navpreet Sahsi is an emergency physician in the Toronto area with over ten years of emergency medicine experience in a variety of practice settings. From level one trauma centres, to remote rural hospitals, to extreme settings in austere international environments, he has done it all. He is a recognized expert in global health and has worked for both Medicines Sans Frontiers and the International Committee of the Red Cross in some of the world’s poorest and most dangerous settings. His work has been featured on NPR and he has done numerous public speaking engagements. As well, he is an active lecturer at the University of Toronto and is involved in teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents. In addition to his humanitarianism, Dr. Sahsi has a special interest in physician and general human health and wellbeing. He is a twenty year practitioner of meditation and teaches and lectures on the subject.
