Dr. Sagar Dugani grew up in India and moved to Toronto for undergraduate studies. He completed the MD/PhD Program at the University of Toronto, and then went to Harvard Medical School for Residency in Internal Medicine. He is a General Internist certified in Canada and the US. Apart from clinical work, he is actively involved in cardiovascular and health system research in low and middle income countries, and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of CMAJ.
