Veena is a family physician and consultant in Edmonton. She attended the University of Alberta for her undergraduate studies, University of Calgary for medical school, and University of Alberta for family medicine residency training. She has worked in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings and has special interests in care of the elderly and medical aesthetics. Veena has also worked as a consultant with a variety of organizations, including educational, technology, and pharmaceutical companies. She is also passionate about mentoring students and hopes to work towards making medical education more accessible to learners from underrepresented backgrounds.
