The MDconsultants network currently comprises more than 100 medical students, residents, and attending physicians who practice in various specialties across Canada and the United States. Our company is led by 3 physician partners who graduated from the University of Toronto and is supported professionally by a full-time managerial staff. MDconsultants started out in 2009 to provide high quality consulting services to enable aspiring healthcare professionals gain admission into programs of their choice. Since then, we’ve evolved into a predominantly physician network of talented consultants who solve diverse and challenging problems. Our current range of capabilities include admission consulting, healthcare consulting, providing professional second opinions, and delivering healthcare in a variety of settings.
We’re constantly seeking to expand our network of medical student, resident, and physician consultants. A common defining characteristic of our physician network is that it is comprised of what we call “Physician Plus”, that is outstanding clinicians who also excel in at least one other domain be it research, teaching, entrepreneurship, sports, or leadership abilities.
All our physician consultants are independent contractors who work on their own terms and have no obligation to sign up for any projects. Once accepted into our network, physician consultants also have access to other physicians just like yourself. In addition to varied and interesting consulting opportunities, our consultants also receive access to in house professional development opportunities and grants.
Applicants must be registered students or practicing professionals in one of the following disciplines: Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy
Ideal applicants will fit our “Physician Plus” profile and have experience in teaching/mentorship roles. Consultants receive an attractive renumeration that includes a base pay as well as bonuses.
